My nephew, Adrian, is the inspiration behind this fantasy scene. The story takes place early in the morning when Adrian is trying to catch a fairy in hopes of having his wishes granted. The painting portrays the moment when the tables turn, as the fairy casts a spell and gains her freedom, her wand glowing in the process. Enchantment is the price you pay for catching fairies, and this artwork captures that price beautifully.
