During our travels in southern China, my wife Johnye and I stumbled upon the breathtaking Guilin region. The area boasts an awe-inspiring landscape of limestone mountains that jut straight up from the flat earth. These mountains were sculpted by the ocean eons ago, and today, they are dotted with cities, villages, farms, and homes. The resourcefulness and ancient skills of the locals who farm and work in rural China are the true "Heart of the Dragon.”
