This painting was commissioned by the Reagan family as an Inauguration gift for Ron and Nancy Reagan. The Reagan family provided photographs of the 1981 ceremonies for reference. This small painting was intended for the President's desk and was presented to him by Nevada Senator Paul Laxalt upon its completion.
