The Comstock Foundation for History and Culture commissioned this
artwork to commemorate the 150th anniversary of Nevada's statehood. After
careful consideration, we decided to recreate a scene from the historic day of
Nevada's statehood. The scene is set in a Victorian parlor on the Comstock in Virginia City,
where citizens gathered to celebrate the occasion. This piece serves as a
tribute to our rich history and the resilient spirit of our community.” Each print was hand signed by all the participants.
