My daughters had two delightful pet ducks named Smokey and Bandit. They were an inseparable duo and would spend most of their days happily wandering around the yard, quacking contentedly as they waddled along. However, when the weather turned cold, they would often seek refuge in a cozy box in our house, where they would snuggle up together and doze off.
Interestingly, the woodcut features a duck named Bandit, just like one of my daughter's pet ducks. This artwork is part of a Christmas series. The woodcut is a beautiful, timeless piece that, in a way, mirrors the real-life Bandit's charm and spirit.
