Every year, a wagon train originating from Fallon, Nevada passes through Dayton on its way to the Nevada Day Parade. The wagon train would stop at Fiddler's Flat in Dayton to spend the night. Once, I went to meet the wagon train and was introduced to the real "Wagon Master" - an old and proud stallion named Billy. Billy had been on this trip for the 20th time, and it was evident that this old "Wagon Master" was tired but looking forward to his retirement at their ranch.
