Walter was a pigeon who was rescued because he had a broken wing. Despite his injury, Walter lived to be over ten years old. He spent most of his time in the my studio, where he had made a nest for himself. He would occasionally venture out into the yard, where he would run around and explore his surroundings.

We have many cats, but they never seemed to bother Walter. In fact, they would often lie in the sun together on the grass, seemingly content in each other's presence.

This incident happened during the Christmas season of 1988. It was a heartwarming moment for us to see Walter and the cats coexist peacefully and enjoying the sunshine together.
