My favorite thing to paint is the human portrait. Whether it's a face, hands, or the whole figure, these things intrigue me the most.
A big fan of Vargas and pinup art in general, it has been my intention for many years to create a series of pinup girls. The first in this series is "Jana", a dear friend. Jana used to work for me, selling my art at different shows.
Discussing my desire to paint pinups, I asked her if she would mind posing. I'm happy to say she said "yes" and here are the results. I hope you enjoy "Jana" as much as I enjoyed painting her.
