  A true landmark diner, Landrums, is located near downtown Reno. It's a small eight stool, stainless steel Art Deco diner built in the mid-forties by the Valentine Manufacturing Company in Wichita, Kansas. The diners were shipped completed by train to their new locations all over America.

  The concept is a cowboy singing for his supper. Models Tommy Thomsen on guitar and Andy Fleischer as the cook. Tommy is a professional entertainer. Andy is a professional bartender and also appears in the Redeye Express as the bartender.

  Placed on the State Historical Register in 1985 in 1985, the diner is open 24 hours a day. Known for its Chili Cheese Omelettes, such noted celebrities as Clint Eastwood and Bill Cosby the later Liberate have eaten there.
